Join us for a workshop where we stitch and repair our old garments that need extra care while watching films that explain Rahemur Rahman’s new patchwork artisanal textiles made from archival production waste by Aranya. You will meet the designer and the artisans behind the textile’s production, as well as a special guest who will speak about the brand’s new conservation project with Aranya, Bengal Craft Society, and the Creative Conservation Alliance.
This event is part of a Fashion Open Studio programme in partnership with the British Council’s The Climate Connection global programme and campaign. Nine designers from across the world have been selected in response to the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP26 themes of Adaptation and Resilience and Nature.
