Join us for a fascinating historical tour around Crawshawbooth led by local writer, Stephen Oldfield: father of poet Emily Oldfield, and author of ‘The Forgotten Forest’ and ‘The Mystical Moors’.
The ‘plod’ will begin at BTB23 venue Goodshaw Chapel, and visit old ruins, sites rich in folklore and legend and many other hidden nooks and crannies which make this old village extra special. Listen to Stephen’s often hilarious accounts of his family growing up in the village during the Second World War and tread in the footsteps of many well-known Crawshawbooth characters.
We suggest bringing a packed lunch and wrapping up for this autumn walk!
