An opening night event for two BTB25 exhibitions, The Synthetic Revolution and Eternal Seas. Curators Amber Butchart and Claire Wellesley-Smith were on hand to offer guided tours of their major new exhibition which explored the origins of the invention of polyester in Accrington and its subsequent global impact.

New York based artist Ivan Forde was also in conversation with BTB artistic director Laurie Peake discussing his collaboration with innovative textile company Bionic Yarn, who repurpose waste from coastal communities and marine ecosystems to create high performance textiles.
