Weaving Workshop

Come and join us in the amazing, industrial setting of Queen Street Mill to try your hand at weaving. There will be a selection of hand-powered looms you can learn about and try, as well as the opportunity to weave your own coaster or wall hanging to take home with you. Or, contribute to a large, collaborative woven piece to celebrate the British Textiles Biennial. Experience the progression from our hand looms, to the mills Victorian power looms, leading all the way to modern computer coding shown in Tim Smith’s inhouse exhibition, Weaving the Future.
